Jaka jest różnica między half-cocked i half-assed i Are them offensive? ?
A:
Half-cocked means unprepared. Half-assed means poorly done.
Half-cocked is definitely not offensive and refers to the act of cocking a gun. To cock a gun, you pull the hammer back, at which point it is ready to fire when the trigger is pulled. If your gun is half-cocked, you've done a poor job of preparing it to be used.
Half-assed I wouldn't describe as being offensive, but I also probably wouldn't say it in front of my grandmother.

Jak to przetłumaczyć na angielski (amerykański)? Are these sentences sound natural? 1.「 I wanna be dependant!」2. 「I need freedom!」3.「I wanna be released!」
A:
wanna is technically incorrect and makes you sound like a child. if you wanted that then these are fine. "I want to be dependent!" "I want to be released!" also released is weird just left like that. if you say released you should say what from: "I want to be released from my parents!" we usually only use release like this when we're talking about getting out of jail XD to be released from jail.

- This dude works harder *in* three minutes than I do *in* a whole day.
- This dude works harder *for* three minutes than I do *for* a whole day.
A:
Grammatically correct, yes, but they have very different meanings. The first sentence is quite natural, but the second one seems unusual due to it's meaning.
In the first case, three minutes of this dude's work is better than an entire day of my work. That means this dude is very efficient, working well and getting a lot done in a short amount of time.
In the second sentence, he works "harder" but only for three minutes. On the other hand, I work hard for a whole day. Now, his hard is harder than mine, but since it only lasts for three minutes that's not worth much, where my degree of effort might be less but it is stained for the entire day. I can't wait think of a circumstance where I would say this? Unless someone said, this dude is a hard worker (because they watched only the three minutes when the boss was standing over his shoulder so he was working hard, even though I know he's lazy all the rest of the time) and I'm trying to say that he doesn't usually work that hard.... or something like that.
