"I never been" is most likely "I've never been" which is exactly the same as "I have never been."
examples:
I have never been fishing.
I've never been to Spain.
you will also sometimes hear people drop the "I have/I've" entirely when speaking.
Examples:
"Have you been there?"
"No, never been there."
