I was watching the first episode of friends and then Rachel said " there's nothing to tell he's just some guy I work with" But the "to" sounded more like ''du'' or something like this. Why did this happen?

I guess when we speak faster or more casually the word “to” can start to sound like “du”. There’s no particular reason, it just kind of happens haha

When said slow, both “t” sounds are equal. (Tu tell)
When said fast, the second “t” sound is more accentuated. (Teh tell). It’s just from speaking quickly and choosing to emphasize the “tell” word of the sentence. That caused Rachael’s “to” to sound more like “du” or “deh”
