What do you want souvenirs from new Japanese roommate?

I'm Japanese and will have a new roommate who is Native American. So I'm planning to give her Japanese souvenirs.
Which was the most interesting good you have ever received? What is you are interesting in the most for souvenirs from Japan?

Food is good, but I think I would like something like a unique keychain, a folding fan, or pretty chopsticks. Or even better, something that you like that would remind your roommate of you!
