They're slight differences.
Path is usually small way or track laid down for walking (2nd picture)
Way is more general. It can also be used when we talk about a method, style, or manner of doing something.
Road is a wide way with a prepared surface that vehicles can use.(3rd picture)
Route is a course taken in getting from a starting point to a destination (1st picture)
