apart from "znać", "to know" also means "wiedzieć".
- I know that guy. (Znam tego kolesia)
- I know how difficult it is.
(Wiem, jak trudne to jest)

I hope you won't find yourself terrified, if I tell you, the difference between "wiedzieć" and "znać" is one of the most difficult thing to learn for non-native speakers. I have issues myself trying to explain that, let's go nonetheless. "Znać" is used, when you expirence something in a past and you recognize it. (you could saw it, or heard about it or got to know it) "Znam tego człowieka" - "I know that man". (I recognize that man, because I have already seen him.) "Znam ten smak" - "I know that flavour". (I recognize that flavour, because I have already tasted it) You "znać" something or someone, however you "wiem" something about something or someone. Also, "znać" is always attached to a noun. (Znam drogę, znam wiersz) A good example to see the difference would be: Wiem, jaki ona ma numer telefonu. (I know what is her phone number) Znam jej numer telefonu. (I know her phone number) "wiedzieć" then, we use if we know some information or detail about something/someone. Yet, you're aware of that detail and you know what it is. Let me throw up few another sentences: - Znam tę piosenkę. (I know that song) - Wiem dużo o tej piosence. (I know a lot about that song.) - Znamy się? (Do we know each other?) - Wiemy coś o sobie? (Do we know anything about each other?) - Znasz jakąś dobrą restaurację w tym mieście? (Do you know some good restaurant in that city?) - Wiesz, czy jest jakaś dobra restauracja w tym mieście? (Do you know, if there's some good restaurant in that city?) Hope it helps. I know the movie’s title but it’s possibly that I haven’t seen it.

“Wiem tamten film. “
I have seen it the movie so I know about the detailed story of it.

Are these correct?
I can use nouns after “wiedzieć”?
