Pytanie o polski

I learned that in a sentence like "Kocham dobrego psa" the verb fits de accusative case. Right? But when I started searching for those kind of sentences rarely find them in such a basic form in the long texts. I usually read similar phrases like "można kochać dobrego psa" or "jeśli kochasz dobrego psa" (i'm making those sentences, they may be wrong). My question is, are those kind of sentences after a conditional or in tbe infinitive form still fit the accusative case? If the question is not clear let me know.

Well it's still accusative bc
Kocham (kogo? Co?) psa (jakiego?) dobrego.
Jeśli kochasz (kogo?Co?) psa (jakiego?) dobrego. Making the sentence longer doesn't change the case because cases change based on verbs

Kocham (kogo? Co?) psa (jakiego?) dobrego.
Jeśli kochasz (kogo?Co?) psa (jakiego?) dobrego. Making the sentence longer doesn't change the case because cases change based on verbs

@azo_oe tak! to odpowiedź moje pytanie 🙂 dziękuję bardzo! ohh Bóg .. this "kogo" and "kto" difference is driving me nuts, so difficult to compare to English or Spanish 🤧

@ipronewcel haha yes we, Poles, know how hard Polish is (we are actually kind of proud about it) so don't worry you will get a hold of it soon. Cases can be a real mess but while we speak about them "*oooh Boże" we use Wołacz in this sentence ;)

@azo_oe yes that's true but I have to admit I'm loving it .. really beautiful language. That's right, that's vocative case, like "Kocham cię Polsko!"

However, there is one simplification: masculine non-personal gender nouns have the same accusative as the nominative case.

Kocham mój samochód.
Kocham mój rower.
Kocham mój dom.

Można kochać swój samochód, jeśli kochasz swój dom.

@KamRad dziękuję za informację. Is there a way to realize if a verb fits in one case or the other? i have some lists but they only mention a few verbs. there are verbs like "pokazać" or "powtarzać" that i have nowhere to check and i don't have the Intuition to realize if they fit the accusative or another case.

Yes.
słyszeć, widzieć, czuć, sprzedać, kupić, ukraść, zepsuć... all adjectives that make sense when paired with a given noun.

słyszeć, widzieć, sprzedać, kupić, ukraść, zepsuć:
samochód, rower, komputer, telefon, telewizor.

słyszeć, widzieć, czuć, sprzedać, kupić, ukraść:
kota, psa, szczura, konia, byka, człowieka.
