As a native Korean speaker do you use "이해 못 해요" or "이해가 안 돼요" if you want to say that "I don't understand/ I don't get it etc"
Recently, a teacher on Instagram posted that natives don't usually use 이해 못 해요. But I have heard a few natives use "이해 못 해요".

이해 못 해요 is close to unbelievable, cannnot-accepted in sense of "can you believe it? it is impossible!" rather than i dont understand about what i've learned. that is why she posted like that.

"이해 못 해요" and "이해가 안 돼요" have different nuiances.

"이해 못 해요" is used to express "I don't want to agree with it" "I don't want to accept what you are saying". In other words, it means "I'm not happy about it". A similar expression is 이해할 수 없어요.

On the other hand, "이해가 안 돼요" is simply"I don't get it".
