Abyś means aby + it has specyfied person - you. It's not very common word.
Example:
Odrób pracę domową, abyś nie miał problemów w szkole.
Abyś nigdy nie musiał się z nim kłócić.

It's hard to explain, what does it mean. Abyś refers to the future and it's reserved for 'you'. We use it in sentence like: 'Do your homework, ABYŚ (you) don't have problem in school'. It can be used as start to admonition - Abyś nigdy nie musiał się z nim spotkać.

Żebyś is more common. It's using the same like abyś.

"Abyś" is something like "so you...", e.g. "Wear a scarf, so you don't get cold." - "Załóż szalik, abyś się nie przeziębił".

You use "żeby"/"aby" to specify the aim of the activity. The word has few versions according to the subject of the target-sentence.
You use here endings from subjunctive mode.
abym
abyś
aby
abyśmy
abyście
aby
It comes from an interesting, but a bit old-school feature of Polish language, that you can detach inflectional ending from the verb and attach it to another word in the sentence or left it as separate word.
E.g.
Nigdzie nie doszedłem (I got nowhere) = Nigdziem nie doszedł
Nigdzie nie doszliśmy (We got nowhere) = Nigdzieśmy nie doszli
In subjunctive mode you detach the ending and use as separate word (it's even not old-school).
Poszedłbym do kina. = Do kina bym poszedł. (I would go to the cinema).
Chcę sprawić, że byłaby szczęśliwa. (a bit old-school: I want to do so, that she is happy) = Chcę sprawić, żeby była szczęśliwa. (not old-school version)
It's hard to explain, when and how to detach it. I wanted only to show you, that you can find verb endings not only at the verb.
