Qual è la differenza tra "il liceo" e "la scuola superiore"? Anche "la maestra" e "l'insegnante"?

"Scuola superiore" and "liceo" are actually the same thing, maybe you meant scuola media? "Maestra" is a woman who teaches in either kindergarten or elementary school, insegnante is a generic term for someone who teaches, while "professore" is someone who teaches in either scuola media, liceo/scuola superiore or university

edit: actually to be more exact, liceo is a type of scuola superiore because there are other types as well such as "istituto tecnico" so they aren't exactly the same thing but are often used as synonyms

il liceo è una delle tante scuole superiori che possiamo frequentare. Perché scuola superiore è un termine generale per definire la scuola dopo la scuola media il liceo definisce quale Liceo Linguistico, liceo Artistico, liceo Scientifico, liceo Classico, sono tutte scuole superiori ma lo sono anche tutte le scuole tecniche che portano a prendere un diploma e durano 5 anni prima dell'università e sono davvero tante a secondo del ramo spesso sono anche gli Istituti come l'Istituto Agrario. Gli insegnanti sono tutti coloro che insegnano qualcosa in queste scuole nello specifico Professori se insegnano dalle scuole medie 11-14anni, superiori14-19 fino all'università19 anni in su. La Maestra è solo per il Nido3-36mesi, Materna 36mesi fino ai 6 anni ed Elementare 6-11anni.

Quindi se sei un'insegnante della scuola Materna ti chiameranno Maestra o Maestro
se sei un'insegnante della scuola Superiore ti chiameranno Professore o Professoressa

Si chiama così perché è dopo la "Scuola dell'obbligo" cioè i ragazzi in Italia hanno l'obbligo di frequentare la scuola fino alla scuola media, dopo è Superiore.

@zxmbiegamer "scuola superiore" is "high school", in Italy there are 3 types of high school: liceo, istituto tecnico and istituto professionale. The name depends on the type of study that you choose.

Insegnante = colui che insegna = teacher
Maestro/a is the name of the teacher that teaches in elementary school. In middle and high school we call the teacher "professore/professoressa"
