The Japanese are historically tolerant of sexual minorities as our religions don't prohibit us having the same sex lover.This is not a religious sin.If you were in Japan and turned on TV, you could find lots of LGBT entertainers who win fame.However, if one gay person tries to come out, they would face lots of difficulties.Their father might not accept them, their colleagues might keep away from them, they might be forced to quit their job.Of course, it depends on individuals.Many would be tolerant, but some might not.
