The old man took a bunch of keys from his pocket rattling and chose an old, big one. He inserted the key to the keyhole on the door and turned it right, looking at me meaningfully. It opened with a weird sound.

"The old man took a handful of keys from out of his pockets and picked up a big, old one. He then inserted the key into a keyhole on the door and turned it right, looking at me for insurance. It opened with a strange sound. " hope that that help you

How many pockets did the keys come out of? *pocket
Did the keys fall on the floor? Why did he pick one up?
How many keyholes were there on the door? "a" keyhole implies there might be more than one.
"insurance" is what you buy to protect your car from accidents.
"Assurance" is the word you are looking for, but it's quite different from "meaningfully".
Why "strange" and not "weird"? Both are equally fitting here.
