Pytanie o DANIA
Hi!
I’d like to visit or even move to either Denmark or Sweden. Preferably not in the capital city, because I think there are too many tourists. So I would choose another city, but which isn’t being visited too much.
Now, Denmark or Sweden? I’ve learned some Danish and a little less Swedish, but I don’t think that one is easier to pronounce than the other for me as a German. Swedish on the other hand seems to have more „German“ vocabulary (vindue vs fönster).
Where is it better to live in? Where can you move to easier? Where is it easier to find a job?
Denmarks location is pretty good, it’s almost in central Europe, but Sweden seems to be more interesting, because I’d like to see the polar lights and I don’t mind the snow at all.
So I would like if you could tell me what language should I start learning and which country is better to live in. Thanks!

I think this is one of those questions that can only really be answered by yourself. I'd definitely recommend traveling both countries before finally making up your mind.
In any case, if you find both countries attractive you could choose to settle in the north eastern part of Zealand or in western Scania. You would be in close proximity to both countries and be able to visit, or even work, in one country while living in the other. I personally grew up just north of Copenhagen and have regularly visited Scania. There's a lot of beautiful nature and plenty of history in the region (lots of castles for example). Another advantage is that the Scanian dialect of Swedish is relatively close to Danish compared to other Swedish dialects because Scania used to be a part of Denmark. This means that you can easily communicate with both Swedes and Danes even if you only speak one of the languages.
Of course, I might be a bit biased here since this is my own home region but I hope you found it helpful nevertheless :)
