Pytanie o hiszpański (Meksyk)
What are some less formal ways to say "llegar", in english it sounds formal to say "arrive", is it like that spanish? or are there ways to say "to get somewhere" or "to pull up" "to show up"

We use "llegar" and it doesn't sound necessarily formal, but there are some other ways that can be use with friends and you wouldn't use with your boss or teacher. For example, to tell a friend you'll see him/her in his/her house, you can say:
-Ahí llego/Ahí te caigo
I can't think of other ways, right now... But "llegar" is not formal at all :P

llegar is informal. You can also say "ya estoy aquí" "voy entrando"
arribar is more formal and usually to talk about vehicles

"Llegar" is pretty neutral, you can use it without sounding formal.
e.g: "Ya llegué!" (I'm here!)
"Ya voy a llegar" (I'm about to arrive)
"¿Cuando llegas?" (When do you arrive)
All this examples sound very informal, but if you want even more informal ways to say it, then it changes from city to city, Gabriela already gave you "caer" as an example, litterally means "to fall" but a lot of people use it.
