@S-kualo Yes, it stays "to". In example:
Asia i Gosia to kelnerki. (Asia and Gosia are waitresses)
But you have to remember about changing the form of the noun.

I don't think you can change "być" for "to". Sometimes you can use "to" instead of "być", but only in spoken Polish, because it's not really correct, though people do speak like that. Like in the example:
Asia jest kelnerką. (Asia is a waitress)
Asia to kelnerka. (Asia is a waitress)

But you can do it only in this kind of simple sentences when you say what job someone has or what nationality they are, not in more complicated ones like: Dziś jest piękna pogoda. (It's nice weather today). You can't say "Dziś to piękna pogoda."
