In several Japanese anime, I've noticed that there's a row of numbers on the upper left-hand corner of the screen resembling a clock. What is that row of numbers? And what is it used for?

It is a clock.
It shows during morning in every channels. There is not in the US?

But whenever I press the "Info" button on my television's remote control, it shows a clock, and this can be seen at any time

@nottaway66 I usually watch Japanese anime online or on television. When they show anime on TV here in the West, they translate it and dub it for an English-speaking audience
